Visual Ecology and Psychotherapy Research Foundation (VEP)
Visual Ecology is the individual's moment-to-moment interaction with light stimulation of the eyes.
Adjusting the predominant light wavelengths and patterns of light entering an individual's eyes can alter emotions in such a way as to enhance the experience of a psychotherapy session. The safe, systematic way of integrating such factors as brightness, wavelength, and position of the primary light source into the psychotherapeutic process is known as Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT®).
The Visual Ecology and Psychotherapy Research Foundation (VEP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2013 to facilitate research on the scientific study of ETT and its effects.
VEP is reaching out to identify research partners, including scientists, academic chairs, and research institutions to aid in the study of ETT research with designs robust enough to yield meaningful results.
